Over the Easter weekend, the Branch gave effect to the ExCo’s welfare initiative to visit senior members of the Branch aged 65 & above, past Branch Chairmen, past Presidents resident in Lagos & widows of late members of the Branch as well as to give out tokens to unemployed members.
In two trips covering the first leg of the initiative, the Branch Chairman, Engr. Tosin Ogunmola, MNSE, PMP led members and spouses on visits to eleven families in this respect.
We had visits to the homes of Mama Winifred Awoyinfa; PP Engr. Dr. & Mrs. O. Ajayi FNSE; Engr. & Mrs. Omoruan FNSE; Engr. & Mrs. Olusanya Folarin; Engr. & Mrs. M.B. Odetokun FNSE; Engr. Amos Omopeloye FNSE; Engr. Mrs. Idiat Amusu FNSE; Engr. Dr. & Mrs. T.M. Olatunji FNSE; Engr. & Mrs. Musiliu Odumeru; Engr. & Mrs. Jimoh Ajibade; Mrs. J. Ogunniyi, wife of Late Engr. Pastor Ogunniyi, a past Asst. Gen. Sec. of the Branch.
It was the first if its kind in many respects and one that brought out deep emotions at some of the families visited.
